Offered is a simply stunning custom Winchester Model 70 African Rifle in the powerful .458 Winchester caliber. The exhibition grade English Walnut stock was made by famous gunmaker, Joe Balickie who has been crafting masterpieces of the gunmakers art since the 1960's. He is a member of the American Custom Gumakers Guild. He still lives in Texas. The stock features the fluer-de-lis style of checkering. The rifle features a 23" ported heavy barrel and sports the folding express sights popular on this big bore rifles. The bolt is jeweled and the bolt handle is checkered for grip. The entire gun is in as new condition with no signs of use either on the stock or in the metal. Scope blocks are installed as well. The recoil pad is an Old English solid red model and gun is equipped with sling eyes. Bore and action are mint. To say that this rifle is one of the most handsome big game rifles we have ever owned would not do it justice. Serial number is G1130813 and was produced in 1973. LOP is 13 1/4" . (The white area on end of barrel was simply a piece of tape with inventory number that my photographer did not remove. Since removed and no mark where it was, )
