Payment Types Accepted: Credit Card, Money Order, and Cashier's Check Description: This Winchester Carbine was produced between December 1943 to November 1944. This is an all Winchester carbine. All parts are Winchester and correct for this time period. The stock has the W.R.A. G.H.D. stamp with the ordnance wheel. The sling and oiler are World War Two issue with the oiler having the Winchester code. The carbine has the correct finish with no refinish or re conditioning. The stock has not been sanded or redone. The barrel is sharp and clean. The type three barrel band is also Winchester coded. I believe it to be the only upgrade ever done on this carbine. The stock has the very seldom seen M.R. stamp for Mount Rainer Arsenal Washington state. Also comes with a correct World War Two bayonet and scabbard. The unissued bayonet has the correct leather washer grips. The blade has not been sharpened or re ground. The bayonet is made by Camillus and is marked U.S. M.4 The scabbard is marked U.S. M8 A1. I got this set from a Vet's estate. Was told that the Vet served in Alaska during the war. This is a really nice Winchester for the serious collector. This gun desplays well with the bayonet attached. Search for Harry Viezens on google Curio&Relic BEHK F. No. 133 P.S. SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
