Description:
Wood has darkened with age and shows areas of thinning finish. Remains free of cracks and wood to metal fit is excellent. Barrel blue is thinning throughout blending with a silver and brown patina. Bore shows strong rifling with scattered light pitting throughout. Mechanical function is excellent. Receiver retains a nice mustard patina with sharp edges. Rifle has matching numbers in top tang channel of buttstock and on inside toe of buttplate. Top tang is drilled for tang sight and holes filled with filler screws. Cleaning rod is not present. Rear sight is proper for the rifle complete with sight elevator and checkered sides. Front sight is dovetailed German silver. Complete with matching Cody letter!!
