Arisaka (Japanese), WW II, bolt action rifle, Type 38, CARBINE, 6.5mm Arisaka caliber, s/n 97097, manufactured at the Nagoya Arsenal, produced from 1905 to 1945, serial number and bayonet lug match and type of numbering indicates it is a late production weapon, original blue is all there and is Very Good to Excellent, BORE IS EXCELLENT, stock is correct two-piece, finish exhibits normal handling marks but no cracks or abuse, CLEAR AND UNMOLESTED MUM AND THE DUST GUARD ARE PRESENT, all in all a very nice solid example of an original 38 carbine, Retail value $800.00, Sale priced at $695.00
