GOVERNMENT MODEL 1911A1 this is the pre 70 series Colt manufactured in early 1970 it has the
C" Suffix with serial numbers range 240,228C - 336,169C Mfg. from 1950 to 1970. Commercial blue finish checkered walnut grips, checkered arched mainspring housing relief cuts in frame for improved trigger reach, and longer grip safety spur. Fjestad Blue Book list this Colt at $1600.00 in 95% this pistol will go as 95+% with only a little bluing wear on the left side at the muzzle from my holster wear see photos. I will take a trade on this pistol please call with what you have. Shipping $30.00 plus insurance it so wanted.
