Colt 1851 Navy Third Model Nickel Frame .36 BP. Date of Manufacture 1852, third year production with serial number 16537. Possible original nickel on brass frame. There is no way to verify this as there are no records at Colt for serial numbers before 98000.

Metal Condition: Greyed patina with a few spots of light rust. Good remaining coverage of nickel on brass frame.
Wood Condition: Fair to good with scratches and small dings, shallow gouge on bottom of right side at the rear, chip to the left corner at the bottom of left side of grip.
Bore Condition: Fair, usual pitting with some acceptable amount of rifling remaining.
Barrels: 7 1/2" Octagon
Stock: Walnut
