M-1 Garand Ser # 1106XXX -12-1942, This is the genuine collectors grade Garand. All parts match for the period. This one escaped the Arsenal rebuild. Beginning wth the barrel NO. 3 - S-A-12-42(good rifling and no pitting # 1.75 on the muzzel and 2.75 on the chamber), the trigger housing # D 282-12-SA, Forged Guard, Hammer D46008-3-SA, Safety 46015-9SA, Bolt D28287-12SA & S-870, Follower #11, Oper Rod D35382-6SA -Straight Cut, Short Forged Fork and the Stock which appears refinished or only slight used w/the correct Cartouches which includes the partially imprinted square w/ "SH over EMcF" - (SA General at the time) and to the almost immediate right the "Crossed Cannons" and on the inside of the pistol grip the imprinted circled "P".
