PRICE REDUCED IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS!! This is a pre '64 Model 70 long range bull gun modified by the Army Marksmanship Unit in the 1960's to include glass bedding, trigger job, and conversion to single shot operation. The rifle has the original Marksman stock and is in excellent condition. The rifle was converted from 300 H&H to 300 AMU which has the same neck length and shoulder location as the 300 Win Mag but has greater powder capacity. The rifle shoots the 190 gr Matchking at 3300 fps very accurately which is about 400 fps faster than the 300 Win Mag and comes with a set of RCBS reloading dies. The rifle can be bought without the Redfield 3200 target scope that was used in the 1960's for $400 less. NOW $2395 WITH SCOPE OR $1995 WITHOUT SCOPE.
