Description:
S# 49305, 22 rim fire, 3 3/16 inch barrel, antique very good bore. This revolver was built in April of 1871 and featured the half plate finish. Frame retains 85% nickel, barrel and cylinder show a grey patina with some dark staining. Gun wears original rosewood grips with matching number under right side. Cylinder catch is weak and does not lock cylinder in position. barrel shows impact marks along top with markings still legible. A neat S+W revolver that is over 140 years old. Antique
