#8X 45059, Belgium Browning Medallion Grade in 7mm Remington Magnum with a FN Mauser Action with Claw Extractor Made 1968 with a 24" barrel, Clean barrel without open sights, Sliding safety right of the receiver tang, Hinged floorplate with frontal release, Barrel lug with a forend tiedown, Double cross bolts, Sling eyes, Fairly decent piece of wood, Skipline checkering, 13 11/16" lop over the Browning pad, 8 lbs. 9 oz., The blue on barrel & receiver is at 98%, The magazine box and floorplate is 97%, The stock remains at 92% with scattered hunting marks only, The checkering is at 98%, The bore is excellent, It is absolutely free of any salt wood problem. The gun apparently was delivered for the English or European market as it came in a total FN short box and delivered from the factory with the barreled action out of the wood. I have seen my share of Belgium Browning FN bolt rifles but none in this box.
