Merkel 280E Boxlock Ejector, 28 bore, 2 3/4" chambers, double triggers, straight grip, splinter forend, 28" barrels choked .007 Lt. Mod. and .020 Lt. Full, 5 lbs. 5 oz., 14 3/8" LOP over a butt plate, 1 3/8" DAC, 2 1/4" DAH, neutral cast, the E model features upgraded engraving, game scene engraved with pheasants on the right side and woodcock on the left side, nicely figured wood, the gun seems to be little used and shows virtually no wear.
