This is a pre-owned Springfield model 1884 Ramrod Bayonet Trapdoor rifle produced in 1892 in .45-70 Governemt. It has a 32 5/8 inch barrel with very good bore and original Buffington rear sight. It has the boxed cartouche with inspector and 1892 stamps on right side of stock. It has the circle "P" proof on the bottom of the stock and the original U.S. marked buttplate. This would be a great rifle to add to a collection.
