This is a Winchester Model 42 Skeet in .410. The receiver has a blued finish, with some light scratches and rust freckling on the left side of the receiver (visible in photographs). The barrel has a solid rib, and a blued finish, and is marked "Skeet" on the left side of the barrel near the receiver. The blued finish shows some signs of wear or use, with some light freckling on the left side of the muzzle (visible in photographs). The buttstock and forearm are made from Walnut, with crisp checkering in the wrist and forearm. The buttstock and forearm show minimal signs of wear or use.
