#193217, Winchester Model 70 Pre-64 in 300 H&H Made in 1951, Excellent & Original condition, 26" barrel, Folding rear sight, Early style machined integral front ramp, Factory front sight hood, Lyman 48 receiver sight, Standard 3 position safety, Standard Model 70 hinged floorplate, Straight comb stock without a monte carlo comb, Standard point pattern checkering, Sling eyes & swivels, 13 11/16" LOP over the factory checkered steel buttplate, 8 lbs. 5 oz., The original barrel blue is 99%, The receiver blue is 99%, The floorplate & trigger guard is 98%, The bolt knob is 90%, The buttplate has 99% blue, The original wood finish at 97%, The checkering is 97%, The bore is absolutely new. I have seen my share of Pre-64 Model 70's and this piece totally appears unfired. This 63 year old gun is as nice as one could hope to find. This gun and several other Model 70's came out of a collection that extends decades.
