Description:
Old time J Stevens single shot 12ga with a 30" barrel and choked at CYL , and a front bead sight. Bore has moderate pitting, and chambered for the 2 3/4" shell. Metal overall is a smooth brown/grey patina, on the frame .the barrel is mostly blue. And action locks up tight.This model has a barrel statement: PYRO-ELECTRO STEEL CHOKED BORE.The walnut wood is straight grain on the butt-stock, and the forend has tiger grain and a sliver missing on the left side near the front. the stocks are finely hand checkered like a special order or possibly made for a retiring employee, as the SN has a three leaf clover over it: 310! Some mild corrosion on the left side of the framr where two pins come through from the other side , like the gun has laid on it's left side for a long time.
