Description:
This is one of the rarest Marlin rifles made, as only 354 were built in the late 1950's, and used a Sako action. It is chambered for the 222 Remington cartridge. Gun has a vintage Leupold M-8 4X scope with fine crosshairs. This stainless Barrel rifle replaced the Model 322 that would shoot out the micro groove rifling in as little as 500 rounds. With the poor success of the 322, sales of the 422 were slow and it was discontinuted with only 354 made.
