Nice vintage Remington Rolling Block saddle ring carbine from the 1870s in 45-70 with Indian style brass tack patterns. The bore is amazingly good, I rate it a strong 7.5 on a 1 to 10 scale. Rifling is still sharp with light scattered pitting in the grooves. The barrel and receiver have no original finish remaining. Saddle ring bar and ring are present and in good condition. The sights are present and the rear leaf flips up as it should. The stock and forearm are solid and tight. This has not been test fired and needs to be checked out by a competent gunsmith if you intend to shoot it. A really neat piece of Western history that would look great hanging in your man cave!
