Description:
Inv. 4894 Remington Rand Mdl. 1911 A-1, Ser.19849XX. This is your typical late war 1911 A1 that has seen little service. The original parkerizing is about 93-95%. It is silvering on the sharp edges, muzzle and on the bottom of the slide from the motion against the frame. The slide does exhibit the the late war lack of a polished finish as the milling machine marks are lightly evident on both sides. The grip straps show very mild graying. The left side of the slide has the usual holster rub. All parts match and are proper for the gun. The frame is marked FJA for the inspector, a"P", and and Ordinance Wheel. The slide is "P" proofed also. The grips panels are fine with no chips or cracks and are the proper small ring type. The barrel is proper High Standard , the bore is very bright, sharp with crisp rifling and some very slight graying. The gun comes with one correct military issue magazine. Should be a lovely shooter or nice addition to a collection .......$1,875.

The Yankee Armorer, Inc offers a no interest lay away program - 25% down; 25% in 30 days; 25% in 60 days; and full payment in 90 days. Any violation of this policy is subject to restocking and forfeiture of all payments. Any variation from this policy must be agreed to in advance. Cancelled sales are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
