Description:
This Model 1865 is in fairly good condition for its age. There is a substantial amount of wear throughout the gun, but the metal is in good condition. There is patina visible all over the gun along with some handling marks and a minor amount of pitting. The stock has heavy wear and a couple of very small cracks on the left side of the stock. The right side of the stock has a couple of gaps in between the metal and the wood as well. The fore end has a large crack at the front and a few dings but aside from those, looks fairly good. The bore has wear and a minor amount of pitting, but the rifling is still visible and is fairly sharp for the age of the rifle.
