Description:
S# 12605, .303 British, 28 inch barrel, very good bore. This Mark II*** rifle shows Canadian markings on right side of butt with crossed off unit markings and round Quebec cartouche. Pistol grip is stamped with "Flaming Bomb" over "US" over "12605" with other older markings also visible. Features include a Canada Tool & Speecialty Co rear sight and two piece handguard. Bolt shows case colors on sides when open, top and handle are grey. Receives shows silvering typical of worn case hardening. All other exposed metal parts show a brown patina with traces of blue in protected areas. Stock shows expect3ed dings and dents with a small crack in forward handguard. This is one of 20,000 rifles sold to the US Government in 1917. FFL or C&R
