Description:
Ansley H. Fox AE Grade 12 gauge with 30" F/M Chromox Fluid Compressed Steel ejector barrels with 2 9/16" chambers. Manufactured in 1922. Bores .733 right and .732 left. Choked .024 right and .041 left. Very slight pitting in both bores. Does not appear to be deep. Raised matted rib with silver front bead. Reciever with typical later style AE engraving and a nice patina. No case colors remaining except in protected areas. Pistol grip buttstock is nicely figured with a major repair adjacent to the reciever on both sides. These are well done and completely solid. There is a hole drilled into pistol grip. 14 1/8" LOP to a hard factory buttplate. DAC-2" DAH-3 1/4" 7lb 4oz Lockup is tight. Barrels ring. A solid shootet or an excellent candidate for restoration.
