COLT BREVETTE MODEL 1851 NAVY "BROOKLYN BRIDGE" CYLINDER SCENE REVOLVER. Stamped "Cal.35"(.36 caliber) on left triggerguard which is nickel or tin plated. 5 1/2" barrel marked 'American" with crossed keys under crown on either end. Cylinder scene crisp of Brooklyn Bridge with sailboats underneath. Excellent grips well inletted. Very good screws, wedge, loading lever, etc. Heavy mainspring woith full and halfcock but cylinder dess not cycle although it turns. Good nipples and stops. Strong lockup which means it does not rattle as most of these do. All matching numbers on triggerguard, frame, butt and barrel. Loading lever catch at underside a better replacement than original. Excellent bore and chambers. Crisp rifling with no pits. All original patina and original finish never added to or file marks.
