KENTUCKY FINTLOCK PISTOL BY HACKER MARTIN CA. 1930’S. .45 cal. rifled 9 ½” octagon barrel with “HACKER MARTIN” stamped behind the rear sight. Rare hand made Hacker Martin lock with narrow pointed two stage tail in the Tennessee manner and stamped “HACKER MARTIN” as well. Maple stock with typical Hacker Martin hand made brass mounts. Original hickory rod. Pistols with his own locks are quite rare-usually using old lock plates with or without hand made parts. This entire lock assembly is all his work. Scarce Tennessee pistol by the last of the original smiths.
