25? SxS chopper-lump barrels with matted Churchill rib, inlaid XXV in gold, choked modified & full. 14"pull from front trigger to checkered wood butt. 1 5/8" - 2 3/8" drop. Trace of cast-off. Figured European walnut stock with Anson-pushbutton-release splinter forend, straight English grip, classic point-pattern checkering, gold oval and teardrops. Slim, casehardened, Baker-patent, easy-opening sidelock action with automatic top tang safety, gold-line cocking indicators and double-beaded triggerguard. Fully engraved with fine scroll and with acanthus scroll borders. Birmingham nitro proofs for 2-3/4? chambers. Weight: 6lbs, 1oz. Built 1959. Fine condition, near new with only a hint of sharp edge wear in all metal finishes, possibly unfired. Excellent bores. Tight action. In maker's tan leather VC case with leather corners, lined in burgundy cloth and with black and gold Churchill label in lid.
