24" barrel with ramp front sight, flip-up twilight bead, 1 standing express sight and full-band swivel base. "English Special Select" highly figured walnut stock with beaded cheekpiece, double recoil crossbolts, ebony forend tip, classic wrap-around borderless point-pattern checkering, inletted rear swivel base, Dakota steel pistol grip cap and original black recoil pad. 13 5/8" pull. Dakota controlled-feed, long-magnum-length action with Model 70-type safety, drop-box magazine and hinged straddle floorplate. Swarovski Habicht 1.5 - 6x42 Nova 30mm scope with 4A duplex reticle on Warne quick-detachable mounts. Weight: 10lbs, 2oz with scope. Built 1997. Virtually new. The .416 Dakota is based on the full-length, improved 404 Jeffery case and drives a 400gr bullet at 2450fps with 5330 ft/lbs of muzzle energy.  With ownership certificate, owners manual, loading data, loading dies, one sealed box of loaded Dakota factory ammunition, two sealed boxes of new brass, 6 more loaded rounds and 14 fired cases.  So, it would appear that the rifle has been fired precisely 14 times. $6975.
