Description:
Serial #1319b, 9mm, 4" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1915 dated pistol that has all-matching numbers and retains 90-95% of the original blue finish with slightly freckled silvering at the muzzle and along the projecting edges and bearing surfaces of the toggle and bolt. Additionally, there is a very small and unobtrusive import mark along the underside of the barrel and traces of the original straw color remain on the trigger, take-down lever, safety, and ejector. The checkered wooden grips are numbered to the gun on the interior and have only very mild wear and very little flattening of the points. The pistol is housed in an original brown leather flap holster with no visible maker's markings and comes with two non-matching wood-base magazines. The leather is lightly scuffed and the take-down tool pocket is a modern replacement (no tool is included). This is a fine-near excellent example of an early World War I Luger. FFL or C&R
