Condition collectible,95% original bluing,working mechanics,nice lens,not typical for 100 or more years scope. SCOPAR scopes were produced in Germany prior to World War I for use on sporting rifles.With the onset of the war, Helios scopes, along with many other previously manufactured sporting rifle scopes, were adapted by the German Army for use on their Scharfschutzen-Gewehr 98 Sniping Rifles. All Helios scopes are scarce in the USA.
