For sale is a very nice Winchester Model 1890 2nd Model 22 short. This rifle has a 24 inch octagon barrel, good rifling but dark bore (very shootable), 3rd design barrel markings, early style magazine tube, typical 2nd model sights, and 2nd type tang marking. All the markings are correct for a 2nd model in the 150,000 serial number range with this rifle serial number 153615. This rifle was manufactured in 1903 and is in very nice condition. The bluing is around 70%+ and the wood is very nice with no cracks, a few marks and a chip on the forend. It is getting very hard to find an early 1890 in this condition so check out the pictures. Shipping to the lower 48 is $30.
