Rare!!! Collectors Welcome!!! Antique WWI Period HELIOS 5X H.BARELLA/BERLIN D.R.G.M. Rifle Scope! Condition collectible,95% original bluing,working mechanics,nice lens,not typical for 100 or more years scope. Clear view,but I am recommend maintenance. Rear mount was broken on neck and repaired with welding laser. Also in addition I give addition rear mount in excellent condition. Helios scopes were produced in Germany prior to World War I for use on sporting rifles.With the onset of the war, Helios scopes, along with many other previously manufactured sporting rifle scopes, were adapted by the German Army for use on their Scharfschutzen-Gewehr 98 Sniping Rifles. All Helios scopes are scarce in the USA. Reticle look like German #1,but additional hair with between horizontal bars. Magnification 5 X Length 303 mm Main tube diameter 25.00 mm Eye tube diameter 35 mm Objective tube diameter 34.00 mm Please look on my other items.
