#3518 Ballard Single Shot Deringer, 41 Rimfire, Blue
This is a rare Ballard 41 rimfire single shot deringer and was made about 1870. Less than a few thousand and this in #69 and is matching numbers including the grips. It retains about 60% plus original finish of which 30% is blue and the balance is plum color. The mechanical function is very good crisp and tight and the bore is very good, bright and shinny with only a minor spec of spotting. The wood grips are very fine condition. These Ballard’s are very hard to find in any condition and are considered a rare find.
