#3588 Westley Richards Gentleman’s, Man Stopper Belt Pistol
This is an exceptionally nice Westley Richards 72 caliber a superb man stopper belt pistol with safety. The Westley Richards Company made some of the finest pistols ever and the condition on this one is excellent. It retains 80% fading case colors, 85% barrel brown, 90% blue, excellent sharp wood checkering and 95% varnish. It is nicely engraved on the lock, hammer, trigger guard, top tang and screw heads. There is a platinum breach plug and platinum breach spacer. It has a belt hook and captive ramrod. The mechanical function is excellent and the sliding mechanical safety is very crisp. The smooth bore is very good. The I.D. number is 787 and Westley Richards will have the records of who purchased this pistol.
