High condition gun in a very versatile cartridge. From an advanced Sauer & Sohn Collection, an exceptionally rare model 35 double rifle. This is the only known example of this model currently available for purchase! Very rare and suitable for any Sauer collection. Excellent bores and Blacking. Very nice wood too. The gun has one aspect to it that I have never seen before. It has clearly been hunted with and the original owner kept score with small inked tick marks on each side of the trigger guard. It makes me wish it was able to talk…are the tick marks for large European game like the Keiler (large male Russian wild boar) or Moose? Or did the hunter make trips to Africa? In any event, this is a very rare double gun from a famous German maker in an excellent caliber. It is in excellent condition and it is ready for your next hunting trip. The gun has a LOP of 14.25”.
