Description:
Serial #32919, .38 S&W, 4? barrel with a good-near very good bore that has spots of freckling and mild pinprick pitting along its length. This revolver has matching numbers on the frame, cylinder, latch, and barrel with the metal retaining about 80-85% of the original nickel finish that has mild freckling along the barrel and frame as well as a few scattered areas of very light pinprick pitting, mostly on the edges of the frame and sideplate on the left side. The hammer retains about 50% of the original color case-hardening with the balance turned to a smooth pewter gray patina. The checkered hard rubber grips are numbered to the gun and are in fine shape with very little flattening of the points or edges. The lock-up is still tight and the action functions flawlessly. This is a great top-break Smith & Wesson .38 and would make a very nice addition to a collection. Antique
