Description:
Batch #518, .36 Caliber, 10” part octagon barrel with a very good bore that has some light freckling within the grooves. This is a cool pistol that has a dark brown patina overall with some lighter toned, gray speckling along the barrel and frame. Additionally, the frame has light-moderate pitting, heaviest on and around the nipple bolster, and there are some small spots of light pitting on the hammer as well. The mechanism is still tight and functional and the walnut grips (numbered to the gun on the interior) are in about good shape with numerous small handling marks and scratches in the old re-applied oil finish. There is also a small chip missing from the top of the right panel. This is a very good “boot pistol” overall with a great antique look. Antique
