Description:
Lancaster wrist breaker 12b C.1891. This gun was originally a "Colindian" oval bore ball and shot gun but the "oval" was removed. Gun is in excellent condition very tight and on face. It has perfect bores choked modified in both bores but there appears to be plenty of metal to take a set of removable choke inserts if one so desires. 2 3/4" chambers. Minimum wall thickness is generous at: R=,043, L=.049 both 8in. from muzzle. Barrels are steel and made by Lancaster (CL) 29" long. They have been nicely re-blacked. The stock has beautiful wood with refereshed checkering in the bold Lancaster pattern. LOP 14 3/8 to a Silvers style pad, dah - 2 3/8, dac 1 1/2. It weighs 7.5lbs.Engraving is profuse and very crisp. Engraving or etching has probably been added at the rear of both barrels - expertly done.
