Description:
This Carbine has the original Buffalo Arms barrel dated 11-1943. The front sight is a correct stamped parts sight coded SN. The high wood stock is coded NPM FJA with ordnance wheel. All the parts are properly coded for National Postal Meter. The sling and oiler are also correct World War Two issue for this gun. This carbine has not been rebuilt or have had a type three barrel band installed on the gun. The rear flip sight is original to the carbine. The type one barrel band shows equal wear to this gun and appears to be original to the carbine. The magazine is also coded to National Postal Meter. The flat bolt still has 75% of it's original black blue finish. The bore is fine and clean with no muzzle flare. This is a very nice war time service M1 Carbine. It is getting very hard to find original condition carbines that have not been messed with. This carbine would look great in any carbine collection or military collection.
