Description:
Offered for sale is one used barrel from a 37mm Tru-Flite Super Long Range Gas Gun, circa 1930's-40's. Manufactured by The Lake Erie Chemical Company in Cleveland, Ohio, these guns were used to launch gas cannisters and other projectiles by police and military units. I do not have the rest of the gun, so only this barrel is for sale. As you can see from the pictures, it does have some rust and pitting, and I would estimate the remaining blue at 80% or so. Rear sight works as it should, and appears to be complete. The 14" barrel is straight, and there are no dents, dings or cracks, so I would assume that it would be serviceable for your flare-launching pleasure. Buyer assumes all risks, however, as I am no expert on this item.
