Description:
This one is marked "New Model 1863" on the bbl. It has all the other standard markings on the frame. It has not been converted and is in the orig percussion configuration. The Lawrence primer system is intact. The metal is a brown/grey color. Has a very aged looked but overall is good cond. All markings are visible. The gun has a good bore with strong rifling. Some roughness and a few scattered pits but overall is good to VG. The wood does show its age but has survived remarkably well. Good fitting. It is very dark and may have had a coat of dark oil added a long time ago. Gun has good eye appeal.
