Description:
Smith & Wesson Model 3 Russian -2nd Model - Cal. .44 Russian - 7" Bbl. - SN35XXX(1873-1874). Perfect mechanics with excellent timing and lock-up - perfect bore - looks like new. Metal is excellent overall showing a few areas of minor spotting but no pits or corrosion and retains 90% to 95% original nickel and blue on trigger guard. Butt is stamped with the Schuyler and Graham logo and has the original lanyard ring. Grips are excellent and undamaged with 90% + original finish. Only about 6200 Commercial models went to Schuyler & Graham in 1873-1874. This is an exceptionally crisp, all original, and scarce old S&W Russian 2nd Model in excellent ++ condition. A very popular sidearm in the early West.
