14-129 JOHNSON 1836 FLINTLOCK PISTOL
Model 1836 Flintlock Pistol by Robert Johnson made for the US Government.
Has iron mountings, back strap, butt cap, etc. Marked U.S. R. Johnson Middnconn dated 1836 on lock barrel has standard proof US Government markings BBL. This flintlock is in original condition with a deep brown patina and it has not been buffed or tampered with. The markings on the lock are clear and there is almost no corrosion on the lock. Slight corrosion on the barrel at the end of the barrel; wood is clean with normal dents, dings, age crack etc. Stock is not missing any wood. Overall very good condition.
