Here's a basic shooter grade Pre 64 Winchester 70 .308 Fwt at an AFFORDABLE price!
Rifle is in very decent shape and has not been chopped up, routed, bedded, refinished or drilled etc... and functions flawlessly. Serial# 274xxx 1953 with matching bolt.
Other than the aluminum floor plate which shows considerable wear, I would rate bluing at about 95%, the wood closer to 85% due to numerous shallow dings and scrapes.
Has 22" fwt barrel with excellent bore. Factory sights and swivels. MC stock to ALUMINUM plate.
Overall, a great gun to bang around with and should prove to be a reliable game getter or plinker.
Would also be an excellent candidate for restoration.
