Superb Engraved Colt Single Action Army .44 Rimfire caliber revolver. Made in 1876. This is the finest engraved Colt Single Action Army Rimfire in existence! The Rimfire Single Actions were early guns produced in their own serial range, 1-1863. The gun is in unfired condition and is nickel plated with burl walnut grips. The engraving is well done and according to the letters by both R. L. Wilson and Ron Graham, the engraving was done by L. D. Nimschke or his shop. The gun is in a period original Hartley & Graham form fitted case. It is a spectacular piece! This gun is accompanied by a Colt factory letter, a letter from noted author and Colt expert R. L. Wilson, and a letter from noted author and Single Action Army expert Ron Graham. Both Wilson and Graham agree that this is the finest Colt Single Action Army Engraved Rimfire in existence.
