Griffin and Howe, New York, classic 30/06, 1903 Springfield action, sporting rifle, ca. 1948. Weight 9 1/4 lbs. with original scope. 24" original "Star Gauge" barrel complete with original Lyman 48 receiver sight and original Hensoldt "Klein Dialyt" 2 3/4X scope on G&H mounts. Complete in the original maker's case with cleaning rod and extremely rare original Springfield Armory "Star Gauging Record" dated August 14, 1914. Featured on the cover of the August, 2002, issue of "Precision Shooting Magazine", this is a true American classic.
