A.H. Fox 16 ga. AE, 28" Chromox barrels inscribed "Savage Arms Utica NY" choked modified and full (.017/.027). A-style engraved action retains 70% case color, trigger guard 97% blue, barrels 98% original blue. Splinter forend, round knob pistol grip stock measures 1-9/16" comb, 2-9/16" heel, LOP is 13-1/2" over a 1" pad. Weighs 5 lbs, 12 oz. An attractive American pre-war small bore.
