Description:
SOLD Heres a very rare (especially in this condition) A.P. Casey inspected. Serial range 16xxx. Circa 1875. The barrel is of the Gothic block letters which would be after 22xxx serial range. There are several theories to this, I wasn't there, so I can't make an intelligent and accurate assessment. Casey became ill early on and wasn't in the Government inspection business for long. John Kopec only has 32 recorded AP Casey inspected revolvers. thats pretty dang scarce. If you need to fill a hole in a collection this may be the only chance for a Casey and its gonna be relatively cheap for its condition and rarity.
