Description:
Manufactured pre-WWII, March 1940 (15.3), serial number 10959, Type III, by Nambu Rifle Manufacturing Company. Barrel length 3.78 inches. Finish 90% hot salt blue with heat-treated bright parts, original plated magazine holds 6 cartridges. Note: Cocking unit has 6 grooves. Proper grips bordered black bakelite, nice.Type 2, uncommon variation, nickel plated magazine, inspection mark under serial number. Type 3 frame variation. All original, numbers match except magazine (19 numbers off). Some pitting (see pictures), magazine plating on bottom worn.
