Description:
An unusual Tranquilizer/dart gun made by GERWIG MFG. ASHLAND, OHIO FOR WILDLIFE MATERIALS INC. .The bore is about .50 cal. but the gun chambers a .22 cal. blank shell! This gun looks like it was made by Savage with the same style frame and press checkered hardwood. The receiver is color case hardened, and the barrel is full flat black, with a rear Williams ramp sight and a front stud sight.The bore is rifled and very clean. The breech opens to the right and a shell is inserted into the chamber. The knob on the top of the barrel adjusts the pressure : more pressure for a longer shot or for deeper penetration. This requires a FFL transfer as the frame could accept a breech loading barrel. We don’t have asite .I prefer money orders or a check. Item ships when funds come in.
