Description:
The Remington R1 Enhanced 1911 has many features that previously could only be found on custom guns. An extended wide thumb safety and beavertail grip safety with checkered bump aide in achieving the high thumb over safety grip many shooters prefer. The slide is serrated on both the front and the rear for enhanced grip and reliability is improved with a lowered and flared ejection port. The match grade barrel and bushing sit over a GI length guide rod. A Commander hammer helps round out the package.
