Description:
WW1-era .45 ACP cartridges, military issue, loaded by Peters, all are lot B24, Dec 11, 1918. 20 rounds per carton. Note: ALL cartridges are for collections only---not firing. Many show significant amounts of corrosion. Assume that these are loaded using corrosive primers, which can cause corrosion from the inside. Note: the wood crate /case shown in one photo is not available. Included in this lot:
1 carton, very good to excellent condition: a few tiny stains on carton top, completely intact and un-opened, very minor corner wear from storage, packing, etc. Paper wrapping and printing clear and undamaged. This is the carton in the photo.
1 carton, good condition: somewhat more staining on carton top, otherwise as above.
8 cartons, fair condition: more staining, some carton wear, allowing at least partial lifting of carton top, but all carton parts and cartridges present. Some label damage from tearing or staining.
9 cartons, poor to fair condition: greater amounts of staining and carton wear, partially torn or illegible labels. Carton parts all present, but tops not secure.
3 cartons, as above, but missing tops and/or label wrappers.
