This revolver has six .32 caliber barrels and a percussion firing system. Manufactured in Worcester, Massachusetts by Allen, Thurber and Company, one of many firms founded by Ethan Allen. This was a popular personal weapon amongst gold rush prospectors and river boat gamblers. It has a 3 1/4 long, 6-shot fluted barrel group and an engraved (separately attached) nipple shield. Gun shows signs of re-plating, which has obscured some of the markings; and which itself is peeling away in some areas. Corrosion is showing where the plating is missing. The bar hammer has "Allen's Patent" marked on it. Other markings, appearing on the barrel, are "Cast Steel" and "1837". Gun is an antique and should not be fired without examination by gunsmith

Shipping is $30 to the lower 48 states, and about $50 to most European countries and $70 to Australia. There is a 3 day- no questions asked return period (from date of receipt) for the refund of price paid for the gun (not including shipping). The gun cannot be fired or dissembled before being returned, and it must be returned in the same condition as received. Insurance can also be added, if requested.
